1. Icse class semester syllabus will be released soon on the official website. Teachers are requested to prepare their classes accordingly.
2. Classes will start from September and continue until April. We would like to remind students to get themselves enrolled as soon as possible to avoid any last minute rush.
3. Class timings are as follows: Mon-Fri 9 am-12 pm, 2 pm-5 pm, Sat 10 am-1 pm, Sun 12 pm-3 pm.
4. We request that all our students show up at their respective class timings and follow the instructions of the teacher, as any late arrivals or absence from the class will not be entertained.
5. Kindly take note that there might be some changes in the syllabus from one semester to another due to feedback received from previous years’ students. We endeavour to keep things updated so that you can make the most of your Icse experience!

Icse class semester objectives

The objectives of the Icse class semester are as follows:

To provide students with foundational knowledge in contemporary European studies.
To equip students with analytical and comparative skills necessary for understanding complex issues and debates in the field.
To promote critical thinking, research and writing skills.
To provide a context for understanding European history, politics and society.
These objectives will be met through lectures, readings, writing exercises and exams.

Icse class semester timetable

1. The Icse class semester timetable is as follows:

Classes start on the 1st of every month.

There are 15 classes in a semester. Each class lasts for 3 weeks.

There are 2 midterms and 1 final exam in a semester.

2. Students are expected to attend all classes, unless they have a valid reason to miss a class (e.g. attending an emergency). If a student misses one or more classes, they may be assigned a grade of ‘W’ for the remainder of the semester and will not be allowed to graduate with their diploma until they have completed all of their required classes.

The Icse class semester timetable is available on the school website. The syllabus for this semester is available online and includes all the dates and times for class.

Classes will be held from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on the following days:

• September 5th
• September 12th
• September 19th
• September 26th
• October 3rd
• October 10th
• October 17th
Each class has a total of 32 students. There are 4 sections per day, with a maximum of 16 students in each section. So, if there are more than 16 students in a given section, that section will have to be cancelled. Students are expected to attend all their classes unless they have an excused absence. Note that there is no make-up class for any missed classes. If you miss more than 2 consecutive classes, you will not be allowed to continue with the Icse program and you must withdraw from Icse.

Icse class semester examination schedule

The icse class semester examination schedule is as follows:

The first Icse class semester examination will be held on the 10th of March, 2017.

The second Icse class semester examination will be held on the 10th of May, 2017.
